Where to get a hamster??

I can’t find any hamster’s available of the species that I am looking for. In my province, there are only two dwarf hybrid hamsters available and they are like 3 hours drive away. I’ve been to 2 pet stores as well and haven’t seen ANY. They used to be everywhere but now they’re virtually impossible to acquire. I’ve checked kijiji and the only ad for one is over a month old (messaged anyways though)
Any other places I can look?
I’ve checked all the rescues and kijiji and even pet stores. There’s no breeders around here besides one who breeds Syrians.

Then I would ask the local pet stores when they might be getting some. They might just order on a rotation.

I asked today! They said they should get some in from a breeder within the next week or so!
