Lately we’ve been getting quite a few bots, maybe to help prevent this we could make some sort of test question or puzzle when people create an account? Or maybe not, Hamster Central keeps saying I’m getting it wrong, lol.
But I mean, if a hamster has six legs than they have six legs?

I think that's a very good idea. We seem to be getting a lot of users who aren't here for hamsters....
Or we could ban/temporarily reject posts which contain foreign characters? Seeing as 100% of hamster-related posts on this forum use the qwerty keyboard, not the 'řģż§ß' keyboard...

I second this! Every time that a bot make a posts with a bunch of links I get worried that someone will click on them and get taken to a phishing website.

Absolutely agree! I think that is a great idea.
Links are pretty bad if someone clicks on them, and especially once, there was a post with rather (VERY) unnapropriate pictures, and that's really not great. The pictures were just there, it wasn't even a link.
