Re: lump on foot??
I haven't seen a tumour on a foot before, but my guess is that it could be a tumour.
Sometimes, a tumour is a swollen area with fur covering it. Other times, it's a bulge with no fur. It can be red and even bleeding. Taking her to a vet is the best thing to do. If it's a tumour, it might keep growing. Whether it grows fast or slow is hard to guess. I've had hamsters survive a few weeks to half a year with large tumours.

Re: lump on foot??
Do you have a picture of the foot? How long has the foot been swollen?
It's possible that it's an infection (some people call it bumblefoot) causing edema or possibly a broken bone makes the foot swell.
Do you see any cuts on the foot? did the hamster have any fall? do you see them biting at the foot or not wanting to put weight on it?
Is there a vet you see? I would get some antibiotics for possible infection if you can't see any visible cuts that you could clean.

Re: lump on foot??
It sounds like your hamster’s foot could be seriously infected or injured, especially with the swelling, redness, and possible bleeding you described. While bumblefoot is common, severe swelling like that can also come from a bite, abscess, or other injury. The best thing to do right now is separate her from anything that could worsen it and get her to a small animal or exotic vet as soon as possible. These issues can progress quickly in hamsters, and early treatment with proper care or antibiotics is often needed to prevent serious complications.
