Hello everyone! You probably have noticed all the spam posts. I am doing my best to delete them however because of the ammount of posts its really difficult to go through each one. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it!

Re: Dealing with spam
Hi, do you have some sort of mod powers then, I am really glad that somebody is helping out with dealing with the spam. The only thing I can suggest is to try and ban the people who are spamming as quickly as possible, do you have the powers to do that? I will send Kikya a message and offer to help out myself because I think we probably need some more of us Taking a turn at getting rid of the spam and if there’s a few of us doing it then hopefully we can get this thing beaten……… Please PM me with any thoughts… Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to deal with all the spam, it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. One idea might be setting up some simple filters or approval steps for new accounts, so spam bots get caught before their posts even show up. Also, if more people can get mod powers, splitting the work would make it much easier to keep things clean. Really appreciate the effort you’re putting in!

Re: Dealing with spam
Hello! you may have noticed buy kikya has installed a security system, so now there is no more bots flooding. At first I thought it was random people spamming ads but turned out to be bots. It seems the spamming had died down say yay to that! I only have the power to delete posts, not users, so it was bit difficult since the same bot accounts were making thousands of posts a day.Paws to the Sky wrote: Thu Aug 21, 2025 11:54 am Hi, do you have some sort of mod powers then, I am really glad that somebody is helping out with dealing with the spam.
