Have you seen the new Nite Angel food?

Post by Kikya »

I just ordered the new Nite Angel food (Syrian "Golden") variety. They have a dwarf variety too. It actually looks pretty good for a store bought food! Still need some extra protein like all the commercial mixes but nice variety and my current hamsters jumped on it to eat it which was nice to see!

Comes in a nice can, it is on the expensive side for food but it would a nice mix in if price is a concern. I love that it's got a lot of variety.

I noticed it was available in Canada as well, and given the limited options that's a plus! Though I recognize that it seemed expensive on CA Amazon. Probably because of their taxes and duties.

If anyone knows about another commercial food that should be on this list, let me know!

Wow, that mix looks really good! Niteangel always makes great products for hamsters. Hopefully price comes down in future :( It's most likely due to duties and tax, but shipping in Canada is super expensive, and the Canada Post worker strikes are always going on doesn't help.

That sounds like a great find! It’s always reassuring when your hamsters actually like the food right away. The Nite Angel “Golden” mix seems well thought out with its variety, even if it’s on the pricier side. Like most commercial mixes, adding a bit of https://roobet-in.com/ extra protein is a good idea, but as a base or occasional mix-in, it seems perfect. I like that it comes in a can too—it probably keeps the ingredients fresher. It’s nice to have something your hamsters enjoy that also adds some variety to their diet.
