Hi everyone!
I am new on this forum but an experienced hamster owner. I just got a new hamster, Walnut, as my last one passed a few months ago. Ever since I brought Walnut home over a week ago, he has refused to eat any seed mixes or pellets/blocks I have offered. However, he will happily eat sunflower seeds and fresh veggies. I honestly don’t know what to do. He seems very healthy, his teeth look fine, he just only will eat veggies and sunflower seeds.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I have had a couple of picky eaters for sure.
First thing I would say, it's important to weigh your hamster every week to see if he's losing or gaining weight. That will help you know if there is an issue with his diet.
What kind of hamster is Walnut?
Approximately, how old is he?
Do you know his weight currently?
What seed mixes have you tried?
How often does he get new food?
