Possible mods to deal with spam?

Feel free to leave your suggestions on topics you want to see or features on the website! I'm not saying I can get to all of them, but I will definitely be working on improvements.

Possible mods to deal with spam?

Post by bella33 »

Hi everyone!

I have noticed there have been a ton of spam posts that are been popping up frequently, and have been happening since October. I am wondering if it would be possible to add some more mods? Possibly those who are more active on the forum? Kikya has done an amazing job, and I know it can be difficult dealing with all the spam, so possibly some of us can help to keep this forum clean of spam? What does everyone think?

Would it be possible to reduce spam by requiring new members' posts to be approved by a moderator initially? I have seen this work quite well on other forums. It would be a lot of work though...
