Hi, i'd like to add 2 or 3 sorts of vegetable and flower seed to my mix (the one we buy in pack for the summer).
Which one do dwarf hamsters like the most
thanks
So I would be caution as to what kind of seeds you give them, because some seeds are treated with chemicals to help them grow. Like if you buy those tiny bags of seeds for like 50 cents, they are probably treated.
I usually buy organic untreated seeds, and they can have a wide variety of seeds, also, you may consider growing some grasses or wheat. There are a lot of things like chicory, flax seeds, all different kinds of wheat and sunflowers, safflowers. What is in your mix now?
I used the recipe someone posted on this forum. I will buy organic seeds like cantaloup and cucumber. Can i take the seeds in a fresh cucumber and make them dry ? Do you have any other idea of seeds hamsters like ?
