Hi guys!
It's been a while since I last posted-- I believe it was my last post about Aslan. I miss him every day, and he will always live on in my heart. He went over the Rainbow Bridge just over four months ago, and now I think I'm ready to adopt another hammy!
I KNOW supporting PetCo is awful, but when I went to get substrate and supplies yesterday I saw the most adorable little mammies (three to a single enclosure, which I told management about and they said policy was to have two per enclosure... just awful). I don't want to support rodent mills, but those little angels need a home too, and they were SO CUTE...
Anyway, I am super excited to get a hamster again! It's going to be another great adventure. <3

Don't forget there are often lots of free hamsters on craigslist, those are "true" rescues. ♥

Es tut mir leid wegen Aslan, sowas hinterlässt wirklich eine Lücke, die man nicht einfach schließt. Aber es klingt, als wärst du jetzt an einem Punkt, an dem du wieder Platz für ein neues kleines Leben hast, und das ist schön. Die Situation bei PetCo ist natürlich schwierig, dieser Zwiespalt ist total verständlich. Man möchte nicht unterstützen, aber gleichzeitig berühren einen die Tiere dort.
