So one thing, I've noticed is people posting multiple posts about the same health issue for the same hamster.
What's difficult about that is that we don't have context for how long an issue has been going on, or any of your hamster background of age/other things you have tried to help, etc. You won't get the best advice from more experienced hamster keepers unless we know all the information.
I'm asking everyone to post on one post per hamster so we can have all the information together. I know that it means it won't go to the top however, myself and others specifically look for sick posts to help out and if there are new posts on an older post, the icon will turn red.
I will try to find all the posts and merge them but feel free to message me with links to all your posts.
If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask. I promise I'm asking this so your hamster gets the best advice!

Re: Please take note! If you post a question about a sick hamster
Could I add that it would be really useful if people make the 'subject line' of their posts in health and illness more relevant? People are generally really good at this on the forum, so this only really applies to members who haven't posted in the health and illness forum yet.
Titles such as 'help- urgent!!!!!!' or 'my hamster is sick' aren't very helpful. It is much better to title the post 'eye infection' or 'noisy breathing and losing weight'.
Thanks- it just means that the appropriate people can find your post much more quickly.
