Carboard DIYS

Post by bella33 »

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has some diys you make using paper cardboard rolls that you could share? Or any diy for that matter! I have made the rings toy from toilet paper rolls, and tubes, but am wondering if anyone has other things they make out of them for your hamsters?

I plan on taking my tubes and apply glue and then roll them in reptile bark to make it look like cork logs.

Hopefully you have access to reptile bark to make them.

I’ve used cardboard rolls for a few fun hamster DIYs. You can make a foraging puzzle by folding the ends and hiding treats inside so they have to chew it open. Another idea is a maze or tunnel system by connecting several rolls together. I’ve also cut them into chew flowers by slicing strips on the ends and spreading them out. They’re simple, safe, and hamsters love shredding them!
