Re: US and Canada Rescues
Btw, I've been reaching out a few rescues to see if they want to join HCH and post something for their rescues. So fingers crossed we could expand the section. =)
If anyone knows any contacts at rescues, feel free to ask them to join and post even just a general post for their rescue.

Do you mind if I add these rescues to the list I made as well? Also thank you!HammyWhammy wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 9:01 am Texas:
Ohana hamster rescue: https://www.facebook.com/Ohana.Ham
Second Chance Cavy - guinea pig/rabbit rescue which has also taken in hamsters: https://www.facebook.com/guineapigrescue/ (similar link name to Texas Rustler's site, but is not the same rescue)
Mckinney Reptile and Exotic rescue - afaik, mainly operating on this FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/427593455163660
I have interacted w/ all 3 and believe them to be safe/trustworthy.

Re: US and Canada Rescues
I went through and wrote down the active ones and the ones in English. A few of them only sold certain pets other than Hamsters or something so I didn't include them.Lillias wrote: Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:48 pm This is the list I have in my computer. Re: US and Canada Rescues
Should I put the state and the name of the rescues or just the state and let people see the name or somewhat see some names in the link?

Re: US and Canada Rescues
I think adding names before the links would make it easier to find a specific link over and over again.Willow2022 wrote: Wed Nov 16, 2022 2:48 pm Should I put the state and the name of the rescues or just the state and let people see the name or somewhat see some names in the link?

I recently heard that Haven for Hamsters (New Mexico) is closing. So, as of right now, New Mexico has no legitimate hamster rescue.

Located in central Alberta, Canada is Cloverline Hamstery https://www.facebook.com/CloverlineHamstery/Willow2022 wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 5:13 pm Hi so I don't know if this is the right topic but I am posting where there are good rescues in different states. HappyHammies26 helped too and found the list for Canada and I just googled what I could find and wrote down the good ones and Spud will be posting the rescues for the UK that they found so if you have any rescues for any state please let me know and I will add it to the list. The only one I found was where I live in Minnesota.
