Re: What colour is he??
What a cute hamster! It looks like he might be silver beigeBirdsarenotreal wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 10:43 am He’s white with like brownish ticking on the tips of his fur. Also can we just appreciate how fluffy he is?!

Re: Putting 2 bin cages together to create continuous floor space
Hi bella33
Since my posting, I found the HDX 77 gallon storage bin on the Home Depot website and so I am going to get this instead of putting together the two 5O gallon bins.

Do you mean by cutting off the sides of the bin and gluing them togther? Since the bin is 50 gallons, even just stacking on top would be fine as well.

Rest in peace little Hershey
My little hammy Hershey passed away a week ago. He was about 2 and a half, and he went peacefully in his sleep. He was the most sweetest thing who absolutely LOVED any green vegetable. He had the cutest white patch on his chin and was the calmest hamster I have ever owned. He would even cuddle on ...

Carboard DIYS
Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone has some diys you make using paper cardboard rolls that you could share? Or any diy for that matter! I have made the rings toy from toilet paper rolls, and tubes, but am wondering if anyone has other things they make out of them for your hamsters?

Re: Wall surfing??
So I got my adorable male Syrian hamster a week and half ago. He is literally so sweet, will climb into my hand and fall asleep on me. I love him. He is completely obsessed with gerber baby puffs though. Like he’s gotten used to me giving him one a day to get him used to associating me with good ...

broccoli sprouts/microgreens?
Are broccoli sprouts/microgreens okay to feed hammies as an occasional treat? From what I know, sprouts are when the vegetable plant first starts growing, and is harvested. Since it is the broccoli plant, is it okay? (I like putting them ontop of my avocado toast I highly reccomend

Re: What can I DIY for my enclosure?
That's so exciting, you will have a new addition to your furry family! Personally, as long as there is enough bedding and they can dig, it should be fine. Many people do advise at least 6 inches; however, that seems a bit pricey to me. I usually have a section of the cage that has at least 8, and ...

Re: US and Canada Rescues

HappyHammies26 helped too and found the list for Canada and I just googled what I could find and wrote down the good ones and Spud will be posting the rescues for the UK that they found ...
