My hamster is about 1 year 4 months old, and I have noticed his brown coat color become more dull in color, and he is starting to have my grey hairs. Is this normal? Do hamsters usually start showing signs of age around this time?

This is so awesome!! I am currently getting a biology degree in university and this so cool to look at phenotypes of hamster coat colors!

There should be a wing bolt on the back of the wheel that you need to unscrew first before pulling the front logo part out. If it is stuck and you can't pull it out, you can dry using WD-40 or something similar to loosen up the metal.
