Hamster Mail Review

Post by TinyPaws »

Hi! :D Today I thought I would do my first product review on my favorite hamster product, Hamster Mail. I've gotten Hamster mail I think about 7 times now, and have never had a bad experience. Hamster Mail is a UK based hamster subscription service, providing safe, healthy and enriching hamster supplies. This is a monthly subscription, and you can choose from the 1 month, 3 month or 6 month subscription plan, the first that I ever got is the 3 month, and every time after that I've just felt like spoiling Greta or Eric a little extra (Eric is my current hammy, Greta was my past hammy), Greta loved all the products, and her being a female syrian, they all fit her just fine. Eric has only had one box before, which was sleep themed, and he loved everything, especialy the herbs. I live in Canada, so finding herbs and sprays isn't very easy, but Hamster Mail almost always has them. The themes in the boxes are so cute, I don't remember too many of the themes, but today one arrived (I have to hold back the temptation of opening it until Christmas) is witer woodland themed, and I'm so excited to see what I got this month! I think they come with 2 treats and 2 toys, and I only had a repeat once, and the toy was completly destroyed by the time I got a new one. Another thing is add-ons, which I don't have too much experience with (other then some tiny hats), but they all look very natural and enriching. In Canadian money the boxes are about 30$, which might seem like a lot, but it is actually a really good price for what you are getting. What you get in the box is a surprise, which is really exciting when you get it in the mail. I think that Hamster Mail is my prefered source of spoiling my hamster.

If you have any experience with Hamster Mail, please reply! :D

I couldn't hold back the temptation to open the November box (Eric's Christmas present), which I afterward nealtly tucked away exactly how it was before. Here's what it had inside (including add-ons and the extra)
-Tiny bobble hat photo prop
-Red millet (which doesn't exist in Canada!!!!!!!)
-Willow hideout nest thing
-Hanging berry chew toy
-Mix of hamster safe dried roots
-Dried fruit and veggie platter
*the extra thing is because I get emails from them, and this month there was a coupon code for free millet.
*the add-on was the tiny hat if you're wondering
I hope this helped give you an idea of what you get in a Hamster Mail box! :D

This was such an interesting review. You really brought this subscription box to life. I love how you were so excited and you could not wait to open the box now. :D

Thank you for reviewing it ! I got maybe 4 or 5 last year, and I really liked it too! It had some things that aren't always easy to find here, like herbs and popcorn without anything added ! My past hamster could taste many things she never had tasted before, and with hamster mail she got many varied treats !
The toys were also great, and never similar to the ones in other boxes ! Some climbing ones, some chews, and more!

Hey I love Hamster Mail too! It is about 24 something sometimes a little less for me. Live in Minnesota and the price is worth it I think. I have gotten a total of 4 boxes so far but when Willow passed away we canceled for now until January. I even keep a note of how much each box was each time just for fun. I'm going to show some pictures in a second of some things I got from them. One thing that is pretty common in the package is herbs but I always think maybe my next Hamster would like it or maybe another Hamster would and that's what I'm doing with my male Syrian I am going to try everything.
