Difficulty figuring out if my mantis is male or female

Ok so basically I’ve got a new Chinese praying mantis and for the life of me I can’t figure out if it’s male or female. I’ve owned a few mantids in the past and it was so easy to tell with them. This one’s just tricky. I’ve counted 6 segments bc the little bit on the end doesn’t rlly look like segments and the last segment is large and triangular which should point to female but I’m not sure. Even if y’all can just tell me how many segments you’re seeing could help. Btw this mantis has the appetite of a female, it literally will not stop hunting and thinks everything is food.

Il peut être un peu difficile de différencier un mâle d’une femelle chez la mante religieuse chinoise, surtout lorsqu'ils sont jeunes. En général, les femelles ont un abdomen plus large et un dernier segment plus triangulaire, comme tu l’as mentionné. Les mâles, en revanche, ont un abdomen plus fin et plus long, avec un dernier segment qui est souvent plus petit. Si ton mante a une grosse appétit et fatbossconnexion.fr chasse constamment, ça pourrait effectivement être un signe de femelle, car elles ont tendance à être plus voraces. Si tu peux prendre une photo ou préciser la taille, ça aidera à affiner l’identification.
