Re: Grass seed
I would not use most lawn seeds! It's highly likely they are treated seeds. "Grass seed" is a general term for a lot of different kinds of seeds, because most people don't really understand the different types of grasses out there.
It can be challenging to find a grass seed, I do a lot of research on mine to find some suitable. Most people go with red or white clover, alfalfa or sometimes fescue. It can be hard to find out if the seeds have a coating or treatment on the seeds, so it's best to contact the company directly.
You could also potentially buy the heads of red or white clover on etsy for tea, they have the seeds inside. I give those to my hamsters since I have white ones on my lawn and its not had chemicals poured on it for at least 10 years (probably longer).
If you have a lawn that has red or white clovers, you can harvest the seeds yourself if you have a lawn that isn't treated with chemicals, pesticides, etc.
