Re: Mold on objects

Aw :( I would try to scrape some off with a butter knife. After that, I'd put them in the oven on 250 F for half an hour. I use a cookie sheet with some parchment paper. I usually set it to 225 F for an hour to sanitize wooden things, but maybe a slightly higher temperature would help kill the moul...

Mold on objects

Apologies if there’s already been a post similar to this. I couldn’t find one when searching. So I travelled with Juno this summer for a month. I had done the same with Justin in the past, and there were no problems with her or things relating to her. But when I packed up everything to leave where w...

Re: Is she a ghost hamster or is it something else?

Aw, I'm sorry you want to spend more time with your little fuzz angel. I know it can be frustrating having a ghost hamster! My first hamster, Aslan, was a ghost hammy. I rarely saw him, but that was just his way. I learned to really appreciate that I could love on him by giving him the best life po...

I consider him a ghost hammy, but I could be wrong
Glad to know Juno isn't the only one like this :)

Is she a ghost hamster or is it something else?

It's been a very long time since I've posted. I know that ghost hamsters are hamsters who don't really like humans (well, if I recall correctly) but she might just have the world's weirdest sleep schedule? I never see or hear her. Her bin cage is in my room and I have been awake at many hours in the...

Re: Would this be considered enough enrichment?

I think this is a lovely cage. What's in that round dish in the top right corner? There’s some bedding and food that Juno stashed (: Ah ok, I couldn't see that.Might be cool to add some eco earth in that dish sometime and I like Tiny's suggestion of a cardboard hideout. =) Thanks (: I’ll be looking...

TinyPaws wrote: Fri Feb 09, 2024 6:49 am This is a good cage, but I would probably add a few more hideouts and tunnels. A multichamber hideout (can be made from cardboard) would be great to fill in some of the extra space! :D
Thanks! I’ll be sure to add that
