i see! i think then yeah, the external health check would be your best bet at knowing. so long as he’s acting and looking healthy, there’s not much more you can do.

oh, i mean why are you making a slide? it seems a bit iffy to me- the hamster very likely wouldn’t get anything out of it and if it’s too tall (which your size shouldn’t be) then it could be harmful.
